It is said that if you cannot feed hundred people, just feed one. These young engineers know exactly how to give a fight to hunger.
The young engineers of the city have taken an initiative to bring a smile on people’s face. ‘Bas Ek Roti’ is the innovative step taken by 12 engineers studying in lNCT College. They go door-to-door to collect the food items from the people.
Seems to be a humble and a social act, the story behind the initiative is really interesting. To bring their idea into action, the youngsters created a social group, ‘Aashvas’.
One of the members of the group, Harshvardhan Singh told The Pioneer, “The motive of our initiative is just to be a reason of change in somebody’s life. With just a small step we thought we could be the change.”
The group collect food packets or just one chappati from each house and distribute is among the needy. The group does not accept any kind of monetary help from people.
This Sunday the group will walk out of their homes to collect food packets for the needy. “This time we will collect food packets from Arera Colony,” informed Harshvardhan.
The initiative was started a month back and this is their third event under the string. “We will carry out the initiative at Bhopal Station this Sunday,” he added.
