The house of a school owner in Vardhman Green Park was targeted by miscreants and decamped with valuables worth lakhs of rupees on Tuesday; Ashoka Garden police have registered a case of burglary and started investigation.
According to the police, the victim, Shafeena Qureshi had gone to her in-laws house and when she returned in the morning on Tuesday the valuables were found burgled.
A complaint was lodged by the victim with the Ashoka Garden police and in his complaint she stated that she had gone to her in laws house in Imami Gate area and when she returned the valuables were found burgled.
Gold and silver jewelry were found burgled. The total loss in the burglary was not provided by the victim as she claimed that she would check the missing valuables.
In the burglary the jewelry was targeted by the miscreants that raised suspicion that the miscreants were aware of the gold jewelry at the house.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation. The security guards of the society and domestic help would be questioned in the investigation.
The victim lives with her son and daughter-in-law who have gone to Delhi and on Friday she left the house and went to her in-laws house.
The neighbors have expressed ignorance over the burglary. The victim runs a school in the same vicinity. The staff of the victim would be questioned in the further investigation.
