House of a Material Engineer was targeted and gold jewelry and Rs 39000 cash were burgled from Modern Heights Apartment under Aishbagh police station area on Sunday.
Burglars targeted house at Modern Heights Apartment owned by Mohammad Asad and escaped with valuables worth Rs 80000 during day on Sunday when the victim was out for some work.
According to the police, the victim, found that door of his house was found broken and valuables were found burgled.
The victim is Material Engineer and works with a private company in Raisen.
A complaint was lodged by the victim with the Aishbagh police and in his complaint he stated that he left house at around 3 in the afternoon with his wife for shopping and when he returned house was found ransacked.
The total loss was around Rs 8000.
The police have registered a case under sections 454 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
Footages of installed CCTV cameras would be searched during the further investigation to establish the identity of the miscreants.
Police said that investigation to identify and nab the miscreants has been intensified. The local habitual offenders would be quizzed to narrow down on the burglars.
