Another case of negligence of doctors in Government hospital surfaced on Sunday. A pregnant woman was not checked by the doctors in the Sultania Women's Hospital for over four hrs. later, the woman delivered a dead infant.
Babloo Pateriya, took his wife Suman to Sultania Hospital on Saturday night but the resident doctor present in the hospital kept them waiting for over two hours. After much persuasion the doctors started treatment at around 4 am.
Pateriya told that her wife kept bleeding all the time but the doctors did not attend her. By the time her treatment started their unborn baby had succumbed. No police case has been lodged in the matter yet, written complaint has been made to hospital superintendent.
