Home and Jail Minister Babulal Gaur has conferred reward of Rs5000 and letter of citation to honest traffic police constable Kailash Vishwakarma. Gaur said that an honest person a human being in real terms. Vishwakarma was deployed on duty near Singarcholi railway crossing on Airport Road on June 20. Meanwhile, farmer Raghuveer Meena of village Badarkha under Parwaliya police station carrying Rs. 50 thousand was returning on motorcycle to his village. Gateman of railway crossing Narendra informed the head constable that an unclaimed polythene bag has been found.
It contained Rs. 50 thousand and some documents. Vishwakarma called the farmer through mobile and handed over the amount within half an hour to him in the presence of sub inspector Sujeet Tiwari. Farmer Meena thanked the head constable for his honesty.Earlier also, Vishwakarma has been rewarded for honesty and efficient traffic management by the then IG Jugran and AIG Yashowardhan Azad. Family members of Vishwakarma and police officers were also present on this occasion.
