Social workers and political leaders assembled at laxmi Bai Samadhi in the morning on Wednesday and took oath to follow her path.
The Samadhi Sthal has been decorated with Rangoli. The municipal corporation organised the Shradhanjali Sabha.
Addressing the gathering, Mayor Sameeksha Gupta said that women are coming forward in every field.
They should follow the path of Maharani laxmi Bai. She also appealed to the people to unite for the development of the city.
The RSS workers offered floral tribute and Hindu Mahasabha workers also paid homage to laxmi Bai along with BJP workers.
Mayor Sameeksha Gupta, president of the municipal corporation Vijendra Singh Jadon and the additional commissioner visited the Samadhi sthal.
