Habibganj Police in Bhopal has registered a case of molestation against Pradeep Kumar Modi, HOD of Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) after an assistant lecturer of the college lodged a complaint against her of molestation.
According to the lecturer, he also threatened to spoil the probation period and she would not be able to make it permanent.
Habibganj police station in-charge Manish Raj Singh Bhadauria said that after the FIR, the HOD took bail surety from the police station itself. Now the challan diary will be presented in the court.
Assistant lecturer told the police about the actions of the HOD. She said that she lives in Rohit Nagar and works as Assistant Lecturer in IHM College. The HOD of the college, Pradeep Kumar Modi, has been troubling her for a long time.
From the first week of February 2020. Pradeep Kumar Modi used to act indecently. Modi grabbed her arm with a bad intention and pushed her.
After some time again Modi acted indecently which she opposed and asked to talk without touching. Later when she inquired indirectly from other people of the institute, she came to know that Modi does similar indecency with everyone but no one speaks against him. Because everyone has to work under him only.
Modi threatened that her annual performance report would never be good and he will not even let her complete probation period. On June 14, 2022 Modi met outside the admin office and started to molest. TI Manish Raj Singh Bhadauria told that an FIR has been lodged against Modi on November 26.
