Habitual offender and history-sheeter of Kamla Nagar police cut his private part in an inebriated state late in the night on Sunday in a weird incident. He was saved and is yet to regain conscious.
The man identified as Sohanlal Pardi reached police station at around 3 in the night and told that he had cut his private part and was rushed to hospital where he was saved but the man is in unconscious state.
Sohanlal was rushed to the private hospital and surgery was done after which he responded to the treatment but at present he is not in the condition to record his statements.
Police said that Sohanlal of Naya Basera area is a habitual offender and history-sheeter of Kamla Nagar area and his wife who also holds crime record and currently serving jail from past three months.
A day ago his sister committed suicide but he was sad on the death or due to some other reason he committed the act could not be ascertained.
Immediately after he came to the police station he was rushed to JP hospital from where he was referred to Hamidia hospital but due to his critical condition, the hospital staff refused to admit and later he was admitted in Peoples hospital.
During the whole episode Sohanlal kept on changing his statements in inebriated state as firstly he revealed that he himself chopped off his genital but later blamed two persons have attacked and did the act. More information would be cleared after he regains conscious and record his statements.
