The Bhopalites enjoyed the Sunday evening with the Hindustani classical ragas and Kathak performance here at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum.
A cultural programme was organised at Tribal Museum here on Sunday under ‘Uttaradhikar series of cultural programmes.’ The classical music lovers took the pleasure of the violin recital and Kathak performance at the programme. I in view the Guru Shishya Parampara, Tribal Museum is organising a series of classical music and dance under Uttaradhikar series every Sunday.
The programme began with the performance by Santosh Kumar Nahar’s violin recital. The musical programme was filled with calm and mild music which was listened to the audience with rapt attention. Also the event became even more blissful when they performed different compositions and different ragas live before the audience.
The audience listened to them enjoying the show. It was heartwarming performance for the classical music lovers of the city. The audiences were spell bind with such performance. later, the event was followed with the mesmerising Kathak performance by Praful Singh Gehlot from Dewas. Gehlot along with his troupe left the audience enthralled with innovative performance.
The excellent command of rhythm as well as their natural flair for profound expression clearly showcased their expertise. Their exuberance and the blend of kathak and contemporary was a pleasure to watch. The dance was kept simple yet innovative which was appreciated by the audience.
