NHDC organized a Grand Hindi Kavi Sammelan at Omkareshwar Project (520 MW) on Wednesday on the occasion of country’s 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration.
Eminent poets of Madhya Pradesh- Madan Mohan Singh 'Samar', Ajay Soni 'Munna Battery', Atul 'Jwala' and Dharmendra Solanki were invited in Hindi Kavi Sammelan. This program was organized with the aim of bringing our country's culture and literary heritage to the people and to provide a strong platform for cultural and language development.In order to enhance the dignity of Hindi Kavi Sammelan, the Chairman of Program-Managing Director of NHDC, Vijay Kumar Sinha alongwith the Senior Officials of NHDC and the employees with their families were present in large numbers. All enjoyed the program very much.
The program was inaugurated by the Chairman of Program-Managing Director, NHDC, Vijay Kumar Sinha and by the Senior Officials followed with all the eminent poets by lighting the lamp. The program was further enriched by the welcome of Chairman of Program, Sinha ji with bouquet presented by Head of Project, Prashasth Kumar Dixit. In this similar sequence, the Chairman of program, SK Sinha welcomed all the Poets with bouquets & shawls, thereby starting off grand kavi sammelan.
In this program, all poets enthralled the audience with their hilarious manner and quick witted responses on many real or practical instances of daily lives as well as various general affairs. During this, all the audience enjoyed the Kavi Sammelan with laugh & full enthusiasm.At the end of this grand Hindi Kavi Sammelan, all the poets were presented with mementoes by the Head of Project in their honour and for their best poems recited.
At last, the Hindi Kavi Sammelan was concluded with a vote of thanks.
