The youth of the city have come out on streets to raise their voice against all the wrongs that happen the city. A group of young students have organised a campaign ‘Hey Ram!’ that began on November 13.

With an aim to raise voice against something wrong that happens on streets, colleges, schools and anywhere else one could stick the Hey Ram Sticker and carry on the campaign following the Gandhinian strategy.

While talking to The Pioneer, one of the members of the group Hey Ram! Gaurav Shukla said, “There are many things happening on the city streets which are not appreciated. Moreover, it has been going on for years and nobody cares to do something for it. So we have introduced a sticker which says Hey Ram meaning Oh God that could be stuck anywhere.”

Elaborating more about it, he said, “If one sees a car parked in a non-parking area, stick the Hey Ram sticker, people fighting on street over a nonsense issue, garbage thrown on the streets or similar issues.” Informing more about the sticker, he said, “It is very easy. Download the sticker from http://www.Heyram.in/ and stick it where ever you spot a problem. Click a photo or make a video of what you did with the sticker and share it with Hey Ram or drop in a message to us. It’s time to unite and show the world whatever we think is not right.”

Moreover, Hey Ram is a polite way to make people understand that there is something wrong going on in their surroundings and should be stopped, he added further. He further said that in last 48 hours we have received as many as 80 videos and photographs which have been updated on facebook page of Hey Ram Sticker. “We could see an enthusiasm among the youngsters of the city and we urge for more participation.”
