House of a media officer of Health Department was targeted by miscreants and valuables worth lakhs of rupees were burgled from Tulsi Nagar under TT Nagar police station area on Saturday. According to the police the victim Reeta Agrawal had gone to Norway to meet her daughter and on Saturday it was found that valuables were burgled. Police said that the guard who was assigned to take care of the house was not present due to some work and later a complaint was lodged by Sunita Gupta stating that the valuables were burgled from Reeta’s house.
The police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation. Meanwhile valuables worth `1.5 lakh were burgled from house of employee posted at Central Jail Bhopal at Vijay Nagar under Koh-e-Fiza police station area late in the night on Friday. Ravish Kumar along with his family had gone to attend a function in Kolar in the evening and when they returned valuables were found burgled.
