While talking to The Pioneer, Harleen said, “I began singing when I was in Class IV and I knew that my deep interest is in music.” As he realised what talent he has, Harleen began to enhance it and took formal classes from a renowned classical singer Swami Siddhram Korwar. Elaborating further, he said, “In college days I received a lot of appreciation from my friends and it was only then when I realized I need a professional training. So began practicing a lot and performing at the musical shows.” When HHarleen shifted to New Delhi for his job in an IT company, he made it to meet the legend Daler Mehendi.

After that Harleen turned towards Punjabi Sufi music. It was just like a dream come true for me as I received a professional training by Daler Mehendi’s elder brother Amarjeet Mehendi. Harleen has already released his albums naming ‘Sikkhan di shaan hai Turban’ and ‘Blame it on Punjabi’.
