Handloom and Handicraft products have always remained the perfect choice for the shopaholics and so the quality should be maintained. These words were expressed by Minister of Cottage and Village Industry Department Kusum Singh Mahdele.
Notably, the board meeting of Madhya Pradesh Handloom and Handicraft Development Corporation was held here on Wednesday at the head office, Hamidia Road. While addressing the board meeting of handloom and handicraft department, Minister of Cottage and Village Industry Department Kusum Singh Mahdele expressed her contentment over the increasing demand of handloom and handicraft materials among the people. She also expressed her contentment over the maintained quality and appreciated the efforts being put in by the corporation for the growth in business.
During the meeting, officials concerned also informed Kusum about the activities and exhibitions being organised very often for people to enjoy the newly introduced and trendy collection in handloom and handicraft materials. Notably, this was the first meeting of Madhya Pradesh Handloom and Handicraft Development Corporation chaired by Kusum Singh. During the meeting, she was informed about the various developments being carried out by the corporation to aware the masses about the handloom and handicraft products. She further lauded the efforts put in by the corporation in popularizing the handloom and handicraft products.
Further, Kusum Singh instructed the officials concerned to participate in exhibitions being organised on global level to get export orders from overseas. She said that this will give a sturdy platform to the artisans and weavers in foreign countries.
