Hamidia Hospital has made a new record of a surgery being done with the assistance of a robot in a government hospital. In fact, Hamidia has become the first government hospital in India to conduct Robotic Replacement Surgery. Dr Adarsh Annapa Reddy, who came from Hyderabad on Friday, performed this surgery.

The first robotic surgery at Hamidia was hip replacement at 9:30 am and the second knee replacement at 3:00 pm. Dr. Shivkumar Goyal, who came from London, said that a surgery took about 1.5 hours, although during this time Dr. Adarsh ??also explained the details of the surgery, due to which it took more time.

The special thing about this surgery is that whenever the doctor made a slight mistake during the operation, the robot stopped him. After the arrival of the robot, the chances of failure of surgery will also be negligible.

Robotic surgery was broadcast live. From London, Dr. Shivkumar Goel, Dr. Hemant Sharma and Dr. Radhakant Pandey were also present. About 250 orthopedic surgeons from across the country attending the annual convention of the Central Zone Indian Orthopedic Association in Radisson Hotel saw its live telecast. Apart from MP, surgeons have also come from Rajasthan, UP, Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh in the conference.

Another Dr. Hemant Sharma from London said that it is a computerised device, which works as a doctor's assistant. In the machine, other tests including CT scan done from different angles of the patient are fed.

Along with this, the cameras and sensors in it record all the movements and the situation and show all its information on the screen. In such a situation, the robot keeps showing everything according to the plan during operation. He further said that its cost is about 18 crores, if this facility is available in the government hospital, then in the coming time there will be a big change in the health facilities.
