The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Madhya Pradesh State Haj Committee (MPSHC) are unaware of the schedule of the return flights of the pilgrims from the State.
MPSHC Chairman Haji Inayat Hussain was when contacted to know about the return flights schedule of the pilgrims from the State he surprisingly said, “I am not aware of that better you contact the CEO Dawood Ahmed, he would apprise you of the flight schedule.”
When Dawood Ahmed was called on the number provided by Hussain the CEO also said that, “Right now I could not tell what is the schedule for return flights of the pilgrims, but I will let you know in ten minutes.” Though, the CEO provided the complete flight schedule when called after ten minutes.
Notably, the MPSHC chairman and CEO are appointed for only one purpose that is to look after the management of the Haj – the pilgrimage performed once in a year. And the answers from both the most responsible persons of the MPSHC amid peak of the pilgrimage season when the pilgrims have started flying for the lifetime pilgrimage from state reflects their capabilities and also put up a question mark over their abilities of holding the chair they are holding.
