If all goes well, the long awaited demand of State’s Muslim community would be fulfilled before end of this month. The construction of the Haj House going on for the last two years is almost over, except some finishing touches and the date for its inauguration could be announced anytime.

Sources, associated with construction of Haj House and Madhya Pradesh State Haj Committee (MPSHC) informed that the construction work is complete except for last minute finishing touches.

MPSHC Chairman while talking to The Pioneer over the issue said, “Construction of the Haj House is complete, we have informed Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan about it and have asked to give date and time for the inauguration and the Chief Minister has assured us that he would give time in this month only.”

The three storied Haj House equipped with all modern amenities would accommodate 700 persons. In the first phase of construction about Rs 6 crore were spent on it and it is estimated that till its finishing the sum would reach to Rs 10 crore.

The new Haj House would have the facilities of lodging of Haj pilgrims besides there would be arrangements for offering Namaz, Haj Training, 5 bed hospital, canteen and air and rail tickets.

Notably, the Haj pilgrims are going to perform the pilgrimage of lifetime from the state capital since last eight years and all over these years the pilgrims were made to stay at the temporary Haj House made of tents in Taj ul Masajid mosque campus. That used to cause inconveniences to the pilgrims besides the temporary arrangement was very far from the airport.

Now with the construction of new Haj House in the state capital that is near to airport and is also equipped with all modern amenities the pilgrims of the state would have ease with convenience.
