Railway Station of Gwalior is also going to be expanded and beautified in the proposed Smart City. Citizens would be provided with the facility of chains of ROB (Railway Over Bridge).
Divisional Railway Manager of Jhansi SK Agarwal, Gwalior Collector Sanjay Goyal along with District administration, Officers of Railway technical department have held a detailed discusssion regarding this.
Gwalior Collector Goyal has assured about the proposal of railway that the District Administration will be helpful in the development matters. Railway Station situates near the Guest house. Gwalior SP Harinarayan Chari Mishra and Municipal Corporation C commissioner Anay Dwivedi were also present in the meeting.
In the meeting, it was discussed that for the expansion of railway and its beautification, shops of Housing Board need to be shifted. These shops are running on lease at Station Bajaria and the further instruction was given to housing board officers not to extend the lease. The hindrance in the construction of Defence yard will also be solved at Rairu station.
Gwalior Collector Goyal, DRM Agarwal, Army Brigadier Jai Dawa along with other senior army officials have inspected the Rairu place. The high alert will be ensured at Rairu Station for defence yard and no movement of civilians will be allowed, Jai Dawa Army Brigadier stated.
The boundary wall has already been constructed. Right now, Bilauwa village-situated way is open but after the construction of defence yard, this will be closed permanently.
Gwalior Collector Goyal has instructed the PWD officers to make another way for the Bilauwa village. He has further given the advice that for the defence yard highway road is the best option for the movement of army vehicles and the Army officials have given their consent to the collectors advice and inspected the way.
The planning is going on with Railway department to construct ROB at Garterwali Puliya. DRM and Gwalior Collector have inspected the Garterwali Puliya. Including this ROB other five ROB are under proposal. The proposal of ROB is under final action and the Needam neary by Vivekanand, Dharmkanta to Shatabdipuram, ITM to Malgada Bhadroli Raliway crossing. The bridge nearby Harishankarpuram Railway line was discussed for under bridge.
