The Gwalior police that have been working on the British pattern, would soon change. In the coming time Gwalior police would work in corporate style control room. At the reception Centre of police control room there will be welcome staff in police uniform.
The police control room is being constructed in whopping 24,000 square metre area and it would be equipped with all the facility so that the police could handle any situation. With this control room, police would become more alert and in their work it will create more positive attitude.
In the next six months, police control room will be constructed soon. On the ground floor of this police control room, there will be a conference hall, duty operator room, control room in-charge office, daily report, Ambsuh drill room, store room, dog squad room and automatic vehicle tracking system.
On first floor, there will be VIP waiting room, office, seminar hall, RI office, store room, canteen, kitchen and on second floor there will be Dial 100 room, fingerprint room, CCTV control room, wireless operating setup, duty office. Similarly, on the third floor, two barracks for staff, seminar hall, two bedrooms, one store and one kitchen.
Police Housing Corporation has approved `3.23 crore and with this amount, the police would an advanced police control room and with this, working pattern of police will definitely improve.
Bhanu Pratap Singh, contractor of the construction work said that the work of police control room is going on and by July, the work would be completed. There will be deep concern regarding the quality work of police control room.
