The CCTV control room would be constructed in the building in which the present control room exists in the office premises of SP Gwalior.

This decision has been taken due to the number of CCTV cameras in the city going than more 1,000. The connection of CCTV control room would be made with the newly-constructed computerised control room so that immediate action can be taken on receipt of the incident. A GPS control centre would also be made to keep a watch on police jawans during patrolling and special drive, so that it could be known immediately about the place where the police party is patrolling.
