Governor Lalji Tandon will inaugurate the newly constructed auditorium at Raj Bhavan at 12 noon on November 21, 2019. The Governor Tandon has decided to name the auditorium as ‘Sandipani’ after the name of Sandipani Rishi. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 386 people.
Tandon said that in ancient India the education system was unique and the excellent quality education was available for all. There was no discrimination between the king and poor in Gurukul. He further said that the Maharishi Sandipani Ashram was the only Vidya Kendra in Ujjain where Lord Krishna and Balram came for study after killing Kansa in the Dwapar Yug.
