The Governor and Chancellor Lalji Tandon has extended the tenure of Professor Kapil Dev Mishra, the Vice-Chancellor of Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur by four years.
As per the order issued, the extension period of 4 years will begin from the date of his assuming charge after the end of the existing tenure. The Governor under the powers conferred to him under the sub-section 1 of section 13 of the Madhya Pradesh University Act 1973, has extended the tenure of the Vice-Chancellor Prof Mishra.
