Governor Ram Naresh Yadav, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Public Relations Minister and others have extended greetings and best wishes to people of the State on Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti.
Paying tributes to Ambedkar, the Governor said that along with a social revivalist, he was also the framer of Indian Constitution. He struggled against caste system in Indian society and greatly contributed in establishment of an equalitarian society. The Governor has exhorted State’s people to follow ideals and dreams of Ambedkar and contribute their mite in strengthening concept of an equalitarian society.
Extending greetings, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the Constitution framed by Ambedkar to strengthen country’s unity, integrity and social harmony is regarded as a unique document in the world. He struggled to establish human dignity. The State Government is committed to establishment of egalitarian society in accordance with Ambedkar’s philosophy.
Extending greetings to the people of the country, Union Steel and Mines Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has expressed regrets on his inability to attend Bhimrao Ambedkar’s 125 birth anniversary function at Mhow on April 14 where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest.
In a letter, Tomar has informed Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan that he has to co-chair a session pertaining to manufacturing, repairs and decaying of ships at Maritime India Summit-2016 on April 14, 2016.
Public Relations, Energy, New and Renewable Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Rajendra Shukla has extended greetings and best wishes to people of the state on 125th birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Shukla said that Ambedkar laid foundation of a strong democracy by framing an effective Constitution. He struggled lifelong to social justice to downtrodden and backward people and create an equalitarian society. True tributes to him can be paid by imbibing his ideals and taking pledge for development of society and country. Shukla urged people to follow ideal of social harmony of Ambedkar too.
Besides, Minister of State for GAD, Narmada Valley Development, Civil Aviation and Urban Development and Environment lal Singh Arya has extended greetings and best wishes to people of the state on the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. In his greeting message, Arya said that Ambedkar possessed extraordinary personality. He said that efforts by Ambedkar for ensuring equal rights to weaker and downtrodden people are laudable. Framer of Indian Constitution Ambedkar will always be remembered.
