Governor Ram Naresh Yadav has appealed the people of the State to work together and cooperate with administration for providing relief to people affected by natural calamity. During his Hoshangabad visit on Wednesday, Yadav said Government and local administration were extending all possible assistance to the affected people. He also appealed to voluntary and social organisations and also media persons to extend all possible assistance to the flood-affected.
He appealed to citizens to have patience and restraint in this hour of crisis. Governor held discussions with flood-affected people and assured them of all possible assistance. District Collector Rahul Jain informed the Governor about relief measures.
Besides, Yadav also expressed his anguish over devastation by flood fury in the State. He urged voluntary organisations to cooperate with the government in this hour of crisis and arrange maximum assistance for flood-affected people. Yadav said government needs to ensure war-footing measures for assisting people in all flood-affected areas.
