The international dance festival, Green Wood Udbhav Utsav, is being organised this year from November 3 to 6 under the joint auspices of Udbhav Sanskritik and Sports Sansthan and Green Wood Public School. Teams from Russia, Azerbejan, Kirgistan, Sri lanka and Nepal would participate in the festival.
The State Bank of India, ABVIIITM and Bhartiyam Vidya Niketan extended their cooperation to the international festival which would be inaugurated with the dance of noted Katthak dancer Neelangi Kalantare.
The conclusion of the function would be made by international violin player Anis Vidya Shankar band with musical journey.
Giving this information the president of Udbhav and convener of the programme Ramesh Agrawal said that the teams of Aurangabad, Delhi, Nagpur, Raipur, Indore, Bhopal, Sagar, Ashoknagar and Morena would participate. The fusion band of Anis Vidya Shankar is on world tour of 18 countries and would reach India on 2nd November.
It may be recalled that in the past years the teams of Egypt, China, France, Ukrain, Greece, Indonesia, Thailand, Srilanka and Bangladesh have performed. The secretary Deepak Tomar and treasurer Manoj Agrawal said that the teams of Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior Glory, Bhartiyam, DPS Rairu, Radient School, DPS Malanpur, Neelanjana dance academy, Sherwood Public School, GD Goenk School, RKVM, National Convent School and Green Wood Public school would participate.
This festival starts from 3rd November at 2 Pm with a march past. The cavalry and band would lead the march past. The foreign march past team would follow them with the teams of Gwalior and Green Wood Public School. All the team would reach auditorium Indian Institute of Travel Management after covering a distance of 1.5 km.
The festival being organised with the cooperation of State Bank of India, ABVIIITM, Bhartiyam Vidya Niketan, Hotel Shelter, Hotel Tansen, Boston College, VISM College, Nirankari Bakery, Shayam Vatika, Sophia College, Blossom Convent School, GD Goenka Public School, Brilliant Concept Coaching institute are cooperating.
The Indian teams selected in the programme would present their performance in international progamme to be performed in various countries in the year 2015.
