At the time of rapidly spreading Covid-19 in the State Capital, movement of ambulances, doctors, oxygen gas cylinders, and emergency medical services vehicles without hindrances is tough and to address this, district police and traffic police have made emergency and green corridors at different places in the State Capital.
There are points on roads, which get congested due to traffic even during the ongoing Corona curfew and to smoothen flow and maintain flow of traffic of ‘emergency services’ these corridors have been made.
Ambulances carrying patients injured in accidents and those infected with Covid-19 require reaching hospitals at the earliest. To support the doctors who need to reach hospitals and to transport oxygen gas cylinders and emergency medical services, whenever required, the district police and traffic police have made the arrangements.
Green corridors at the Alpana Tiraha and Nadra bus stand intersection have been made to take them to the destination without any hindrance.
Other places which have been made exclusive seperators are: Govindpura turning, Chetak bridge turning, Board office route from Jyoti Talkies, Board office route from Hakim hotel, Lalghati Square, Halalpur trisection bus stand, Nadra bus stand road.
With this arrangement, ambulances, oxygen cylinders and oxygen tanker vehicles engaged in essential services will be able to reach their destination as soon as possible via the nearest route.
