The State general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Arwind Bhadoriya has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the campaign ‘Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday’ (rising the nation through rising the villages) citing the long lasting development of the villages and to make them economically strong.
He also said that the campaign starting from April 14 to May 31, 2016 in Madhya Pradesh is being executed intensively at panchayat level. The campaign will mark development in villages in three stages.
In the first stage the Gram Sabha and Gram Sansad along with the villagers will discuss on the execution of the scheme of the government and give suggestions to the officials. This will help measure and analyze the issues of the villagers and act accordingly.
He further said that the development of the villages is only possible when farmers are economically sound and that will happen only when farmers get a profitable return from their produce. That is why as per the desire of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the pledge to double the income of farmers by 2022, a road map has been developed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan which was quite appreciated by the Prime Minister.
Bhadoriya also said that under the campaign in the second stage BPl list will be essentially read. Along with BPl list, overall list, food eligibility list, workers cadre list, IECC list and NBA A-3 list will also be read.
In the third stage farm development schemes will be made. During the third stage doubling the farmers’ income and welfare of the farmers will be planned so that an outline of development of villages can be prepared.
