Home Minister Uma Shankar Gupta has said that BPl consumers should avail benefits under Deenbandhu Yojana.
Under the scheme, bills of BPl consumers outstanding as on June 30 are being waived. The Home Minister was addressing an electricity service camp at Kotra here on Thursday. At Kotra, the Home Minister presented a letter for waiver of electricity bill worth Rs 42,837 to Madan lal. He said that bills of all eligible consumers will be waived.
Gupta said that counters should be kept open today until all present beneficiaries’ problems are redressed. Earlier, the Home Minister laid foundation stone for cement concrete road and sewage line at Dwarka Puri Kotra here today. The Home Minister directed to complete the works within prescribed time-limit.
