Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government of the State is violating its own law to facilitate its parental organisation, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) by giving permission of the Path Sanchalan in the BRTS Corridor that is dedicated for plying buses.

Notably, as per the rules even the four wheelers and two wheelers are prohibited from moving in the BRTS corridor that is reserved by the administration for the public transport My Bus only. SDM BS Jamod accepted that the administration has given permission for using the BRTS because this is a Government programme. On the contrary, CEO of the BRTS Chandramauli Shukla claimed that he has not received any proposal in this regard. In any case, permission of the rallies etc is dealt by the district administration, he added.

RSS is going to hold four-day programme in the State capital from Thursday. On the last day of the programme that would be on Sunday, over four thousand RSS volunteers would start Path Sanchalan at 3 pm from Ankur ground in Shivaji Nagar. This Path Sanchalan after passing through link Road number 1 would culminate at TT Nagar stadium near Model School.

RSS chief Mohanrao Bhagwat would address the volunteers at the TT Nagar Stadium. A stage would also be prepared near the Jaiprakash Hospital on the way of Path Sanchalan. Bhagwat would view the Path Sanchalan from this stage. Sources informed that the Path Sanchalan would pass through the BRTS Corridor and the common man and the media persons could see from the road, adjacent to the stage. Parking arrangements for those who would come to see the Path Sanchalan, have been made at the Red Cross Hospital and at Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Shivaji Nagar.

After the Path Sanchalan some selected volunteers of the Sangh from central India would demonstrate physical programme. For this demonstration practice and training is going on in the Shakhas of the State since last three months. Only those volunteers of the Sangh would be allowed to participate in the programme that would be in complete uniform of the Sangh.
