Government is working to strengthen the cooperatives in the State. Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Weavers Association, Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Industrial Association and Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Printing Press Association were created with the objective of financially strengthening weavers, small businessmen, artisans, etc, through cooperatives, but their position has deteriorated in the past.
The State Weavers Cooperative Union of Madhya Pradesh is in a state of liquidation. The Government will try to revive the Weavers' Association. At the same time, the Industrial Cooperative Association and the Printing Press Cooperative Association will also be strengthened.
