Kapildhara well has changed the fate of poor farmer Vikram Singh Saharia, resident of village Tanda at village panchayat Sonkachh in Berasia tehsil of Bhopal district, who had been taking only one crop on his agricultural land in the rainy season for a long time. Now Vikram Singh has not only made arrangements for water for the farm by digging an irrigation well in his own field, but also earned money from the wages of digging the well under the MNREGA scheme.
As a permanent means of irrigation has been made in his field, Vikram Singh is now growing vegetables along with cultivating three crops in a year. Vikram tells that - "The Kapildhara well has increased his agricultural income by 3 to 4 times, due to which he is able to take care of his family in a better way."
