Government officials should also strictly follow the new Motor Vehicles Act. This was stated by Principal Secretary Home SN Mishra during a meeting of the State Road Safety Fund. Mishra warned the officers to follow the rules as per the new provision and also ask their drivers to be aware of it.Those present in the meeting were apprised with the decisions taken in the meeting held earlier. Decision was taken to hold the next meeting on September 18 after discussion on the use of State Road Safety Fund in future.
Special Director General of Police Mahan Bharat Sagar and Transport Commissioner Shailendra Shrivastava besides officials of other departments were present in the meeting.
