The State Government has sanctioned Rs40 crore for construction, renovation etc of various districts hospitals, civil hospitals, primary health centres and sub-health centres to make available effective healthcare facilities to the people.
This was informed by Principal Secretary Health Praveer Krishna.
A sum of Rs4.27 crore has been sanctioned for construction of 38 residences in Badnagar civil hospital in Ujjain district, Rs1.39 crore for various upgradation works and construction of four residences in Jivajiganj Hospital Ujjain and Rs4.27 crore for construction of 22 residences in Ashta Civil Hospital in Sehore district.
Similarly, Rs30.16 lakh have been sanctioned for construction of high tension electricity line and sub-station at Manorama Raje TB Hospital Indore.
A sum of Rs64.54 lakh has been sanctioned for construction of 18 toilets in district hospital Dewas, Rs27.63 lakh for boundary wall in Ujjain district hospital, Rs38.10 lakh for Haemo dialysis units at Seoni, Singrauli, Dewas, Mandsaur, Shajapur and Ujjain district hospitals, Rs2.8 crore for construction of 15 houses in Shajapur district hospital and Rs33.22 lakh have been sanctioned for construction of boundary wall of Community Health Centre Khategoan in Dewas district.
A sum of Rs1.76 crore has been sanctioned for construction of 12 residences, paver blocks, roof over staircase and boundary wall of residential quarters to Community Health Centre Baihar in Shajapur district, Rs1.38 crore for construction works to Community Health Centre Jhirniya in Khargone district, Rs3.68 crore for construction of 30-bed ward and 14 residences in Sewdha civil hospital in Datia district, Rs1.53 crore for construction of six residences in 30-bed Community Health Centre at Indergarh in Datia and Rs2.93 crore has been sanctioned for construction of building of 30-bed hospital at Badi in Raisen district.
A sum of Rs3.58 crore has been sanctioned for construction of trauma unit, emergency ward, neonatal maternity wing and micro-biology lab in Chhindwara district hospital and Rs95 lakh for construction of building of primary health centre at Madimta in Barwani district. A sum of Rs13 lakh each has been sanctioned for construction of post-mortem buildings at civil hospitals in Garoth and Mandsaur and Tikamgarh district hospital, Rs65.9 lakh for renovation to Dewas district hospital, Rs42.47 lakh for renovation Rs14.75 lakh for paving blocks and Rs4.12 lakh for insulator room to Ujjain district hospital.
