State Government has constituted three committees to conduct State-level Education Test (SlET/SET) as per University Grants Commission’s directives. Accreditation committee has been constituted for initial policy determination, moderation committee to prescribe cut-off marks in every subject and steering committee has been constituted for conducting test and declaring results.
Accreditation committee will be headed by Prof AM Kidwari, vice-chancellor of Jiwaji University, Gwalior while Prof DP Singh, vice-chancellor of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore will be its Member-Secretary.
Members of the committee will include Prof NS Yadav, vice-chancellor, Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur, Prof Rahasyamani Mishra, vice-chancellor, Avdhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa, Prof Nisha Dube, vice-chancellor, Barkatullah University, Bhopal and Prof TR Thapak, vice-chancellor, Vikram University, Ujjain.
Similarly, moderation committee will be headed by Shashi Rai, former member UGC and Director Sant Hirdaram College, Bairagarh, Bhopal while exam controller of Madhya Pradesh Professional Exam Board, Bhopal has been appointed it Member-Secretary.
Members include SS Raghuvanshi, Deputy Secretary Higher Education, Prof SPS Chauhan of Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Prof AK Gwal of Barkatullah University, Bhopal, Prof Sudhakar Singh of Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, one nominated representative from among 2 U-CAT members nominated by UGC and Member-Secretary U-CAT or his nominated representative.
Steering committee will be headed by Shashi Rai, former member UGC and Director Sant Hirdaram College, Bairagarh, Bhopal while exam controller of Madhya Pradesh Professional Exam Board, Bhopal has been appointed it Member-Secretary.
Members include Prof DP Singh, vice-chancellor of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, Prof Nisha Dube, vice-chancellor, Barkatullah University, Bhopal, Prof Dinesh Kumar of Barkatullah University, Bhopal, Prof MS Parihar of Vikram University, Ujjain, HS Tripathi, OSD, Directorate of Higher Education and Member-Secretary U-CAT or his nominated representative.
