The State Government has constituted a State level National Service Scheme (NSS) Advisory Committee under the chairmanship of the Minister of Higher Education. The term of the committee will be 3 years.
Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Commissioner Higher Education and School Education, Vice Chancellors of all Universities with National Service Scheme, Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare, Public Relations and Rural and Panchayat Department, Government of India, National Service Scheme, Head of Regional Centre Bhopal, Relief Commissioner, Coordinator listed training institutes / training representatives have been nominated as members of the committee.
In the committee, representatives of two voluntary organizations related to youth, representatives of Government of India National Service Scheme Cell, New Delhi, National Service Scheme Programme Coordinators (Special Invitees) of all National Service Scheme Universities have also been made members. State NSS Officer M.P. National Service Scheme Cell Higher Education has been nominated as Member
Secretary.
The State level National Service Scheme Advisory Committee will discharge the duties assigned to it in accordance with the National Service Scheme Manual (revised) year 2006 issued by the Government of India.
