The Higher Education Department has allocated Rs 12.46 crore to 34 government colleges for various construction works.Higher Education Minister Uma Shankar Gupta directed to complete the works within time-limit.
A sum of Rs 47.75 lakh has been allocated to Government College Paraswara for additional room, Rs 5.36 lakh to Aranya Bharti College Baihar for computer room, Rs 3.75 lakh to Girls College Narsinghpur for electrical fitting, Rs 8.16 lakh to Banda for cycle stand and library counter, Rs 35.14 lakh to Saunsar for study room, lab upgradation and boundary wall, Rs 21.50 lakh to Arts and Commerce College Jabalpur for hall,
Rs 73.42 lakh to lakhnadaun for lab, library and drinking water arrangements and Rs 27.60 lakh has been allocated to Katangi for additional room and lab.
Similarly, Rs 12.98 lakh has been allocated to Government PG College Mandla for staff room, Rs 13.10 lakh to Sailana for classroom, Rs 35.44 lakh to Hatpipaliya for boundary wall, Rs 30.67 lakh to Depalpur for boundary wall, Rs 23.59 lakh to Neemuch for sports hall, Rs 49.64 lakh to Susner for boundary wall, Rs 13.05 lakh to Girls College Ujjain for lab and staff room, Rs 12.35 lakh to Ashta for staff room, Rs. 10 lakh to Sardarpur for badminton court, Rs 26.60 lakh to Alirajpur for auditorium, Rs 8.82 lakh to Neemuch for canteen and Rs 12.32 lakh has been allocated to Government College Mehgaon for building construction.
A total of Rs 40.57 lakh has been allocated to Government College Vijaypur for boundary wall, Rs 1.10 crore to Girls College Tikamgarh for girls hostel construction, Rs 76 lakh to PG College Panna for indoor stadium, Rs 49.94 lakh to PG College Satna for electrification and additional room, Rs 22.44 lakh to Maihar for auditorium, Rs 1.47 crore to Nai Garhi for building construction, Rs 7.57 lakh to Amarpatan for main gate of additional room, Rs 5 lakh to Bijawar for electrical fitting, Rs 43.81 lakh to Arts and Commerce College Bhopal for interior decoration and furniture, Rs 2.49 lakh to Sanskrit College lal Ghati Bhopal for drainage, Rs 39.64 lakh to Timarni for additional room, Rs 1.43 lakh to Shahpur for drinking water arrangements, Rs 8.45 lakh to Barghat for hall and staff room and Rs 40 lakh has been allocated to Government College for Excellence Gwalior for NCC Complex.
