Govindpura police have booked three persons including a woman for blackmailing a retired engineer and collected Rs 15 lakh by honey trapping victim engineer.
Police said that even after paying money the woman and her aides kept demanding money. The engineer said that the woman kept on blackmailing her by threatening to make the video viral and fabricate her in the rape case if he failed to shed more money.
A retired engineer from the Irrigation Department of Nizamuddin Colony told the police that in November-December 2021, woman named Samreen and shared many problems and met her.
On 29 December 2021, victim meet Samreen where Sohail Bag, Aman, Pappu Khan forcefully stopped the car and made video and threatened and assaulted the engineer.
Samreen's husband Nisar alias Israr called her and threatened victim that he had done wrong with his wife and complaint has been made with police and extorted money and a total of Rs 15.47 lakh was paid to the accused.
Meanwhile a Journalist was brutally attacked by employees of Bansal Hospital in Bhopal when he had gone to meet his injured family members on Monday.
Govind Gurjar sustained serious injuries in the attack and has been admitted to the hospital.
Gurjar had gone hospital to visit children injured in the road accident. The journalist was beaten brutally after he opposed hospital staff which did not let him in. Gurjar released the video and narrated the incident.
It was told that his family's car had an accident on Tuesday. In the afternoon, Gurjar had gone to meet his wife and children admitted in the hospital.
After the incident, Madhya Pradesh BJP's media in-charge Lokendra Parashar tweeted that the incident that happened with the capital's senior journalist Govind Gurjar has been taken seriously.
