Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that on the occasion of completion of 75 years of independence, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is being celebrated. In this sequence, the diverse and proud cultural expressions of India will be integrated in Amrit Kalotsav 2022-23.
Patel was addressing the inauguration programme of Amrit Kalotsav at Rangashree Little Ballet Theater Auditorium.
Patel said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is moving ahead firmly towards a bright future.
This is the most ideal time and occasion to celebrate our glorious history and achievements. Along with economic, political and strategic development, cultural prosperity is also necessary for the progress of any country, in which the various arts of the country contribute.

The Governor said that Sangeet Natak Academy will organise 75 Kalotsavs across the country on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. It will showcase the cultural diversity of the country. It is a matter of pride that after Chennai and Imphal, this Kalotsav is being held in Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh is a culturally rich state, it has rich heritage from folk arts to classical arts.
