Notably, gond is one of the most unique arts of the country. It is basically a tribe of Madhya Pradesh. In ancient times, gond art was used as secret messages or codes to be sent from one place to another.

Still this art is seen alive among many tribesmen. These tribesmen use gond art in their daily life, festivals and at other social events.

The spectators could see the figures of birds, gods and goddesses. Gond portrays the scenes, birds, animals and human faces in dark and vibrant colours. The paintings had brown or black bases.

The fine lines and geometrical figures painted in red, blue and white acrylic and oil colours make them look more appealing to the eyes.
