Miscreant targeted a house at Kailash Nagar and fled away with gold and silver jewelries worth Rs 85000; Bairagarh police have registered a case on Monday.
According to the police, the victim Jitendra Dhanrajani had gone to Vadodara on March 29 and when he returned valuables were found burgled.
A complaint was lodged by the victim with the Bairagarh police and in the complaint the victim had claimed that on his return on Monday he found that the belongings were lying over the floor and window was found broken. Gold jewelry and other valuables worth Rs 85000 were found missing claimed the victim.The police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
During the investigation police found that the miscreant removed the window to enter the house and escaped with the valuables using the same route. Police have started investigation and would quiz the security guard and domestic help and locals to help nab the miscreants.
Meanwhile, electronic goods and Rs 71000 cash were stolen from a car at Fortune Soumya Heritage under Misrod police station area on Monday. The victim Dayaram Narvariya came to Fortune Soumya Heritage in a taxi and left bag carrying Rs 71000 cash and a laptop.
Police said that complaint regarding lost bag was lodged with the Misrod police and in the complaint victim stated that Rs 71000 and a laptop were in the bag. The total loss was Rs 85000. The police have registered a case under sections 379 of the IPC and started further investigation.
