The programme began with the visit of the children to Prerna Stambh, where the children paid homage to the martyrs and lit candles in their remembrance. The children were then taken around Yodhasthal where they were briefed on the glorious history and heritage of the Indian Army and were shown artifacts, tanks, artillery guns and photographs on display.
Various events like games and painting competitions etc based on patriotic themes were held which made the event interactive and a joyful memory for the young participants.
Speaking on the occasion Madhuri Kanitkar, Zonal President AWWA, Sudarshan Chakra Corps, said that it is indeed a proud moment for all uniformed personnel to host this unique interaction.
