Glittering performance by the artistes from South India marked the occasion of anniversary celebration of the United Malayalee Association (UMA) on Sunday.
Biju Narayan, a popular singer of Malayalam performed with his melodies songs. Biju Narayan has rendered more than 450 songs in various South Indian languages. He began his play back singing career in 1993. Another singer Ranjini Jose, one of the upcoming play back singers and movie actress mesmerised the audience with her songs.
Ranjini Jose has sung for more than 97 movies. She has also rendered many songs in Tamil within a short span. The actress is also popular on television shows. She sang many Malayalam and Hindi songs which enthralled the audience of Muktkanshmanj of Ravindra Bhavan.
Another star performer on the occasion was KalabhavanNavas, an actor who is famous for the one man shows and mimicry shows. Other singers were Salih and Saneetawho are popular in Television.
The popular television comedy team presented many skits made people brust into laughter. A large gathering was present on the occasion. OD Joseph, General Secretary welcomed the guests and C Ashokan, President proposed vote of thanks.
