A 17-year old girl was allegedly sexually exploited for the past two years on the promise of marriage at Barkhedi under Jehangirabad police station area ion Tuesday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Salman Qureshi and during the period he married another girl and assured her of marriage and continued to sexually exploit her. Based on the complaint police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and section 3 and 12 section of Protection of Children against Sexual Offences-2012.
The victim came into contact with the accused when she used to stay at a rented house owned by Congress corporator.
Victim claimed that the accused used to study with the victim during which they developed relationship with the victim but after the marriage of the accused when the victim contacted the accused she was told that the he would marry her and started sexually exploiting her.
In year 2014 she went to Shivpuri for three months and when she returned she found that the accused got married. He assured that he would divorce his wife to marry her and later he started to sexually exploit her. Whenever she used to ask for marriage the accused use to resort to different excuses and frustrated over the excuses the victim lodged a complaint with the Jehangirabad police. Police said that the accused used to work for a private firm and other details of the accused would be searched.
