A 17-year old girl died after the rope of the swing she was on noosed around her neck at laukhedi under Gandhi Nagar police station area on Saturday.
According to the police, Kavita Mehra was found strangulated Saturday morning and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. The sister of deceased Roshni informed the parents after she spotted the deceased hanging. Kavita was rushed to Chirayu hospital at Bairagarh.
Police said that during the investigation it was found that the deceased was swinging at her house and accidentally noose was tightened around her neck which caused the death. After the preliminary examination the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under Section 174 of the CrPC was registered.
The parents of the deceased work as labourers and at the time of the incident they were at work.
Meanwhile, a three-year old girl who fell in a vessel having hot water in Hinotia under Ashoka Garden police station area, died while undergoing treatment on Saturday. The deceased fell in the vessel on Thursday.
According to the police the deceased Annu Ahirwar fell in hot water which was boiled by her mother and while she went for some work the deceased fell into the vessel. The deceased was rushed to the hospital where she died while undergoing treatment after 24 hours.
Police said that the victim died in Hamidia late at night on Friday. The deceased sustained burn injuries in her face and head which proved fatal. The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and further investigation is on.
