A two-year-old baby girl died after she fell while playing from the stairs at the two storey house in Om Nagar in Baghsewania police station area.
It was found that while playing, the girl reached the stairs of the two-storey house, lost her balance and fell on the terrace of the neighboring house. The children playing alerted the family.
She was taken to the hospital in critical condition where she was declared dead. She sustained serious head injury. The preliminary investigations revealed that the girl might have fallen from a height of about 20 feet.
According to the police, Rajesh Kushwaha, a resident of Om Nagar, is a supervisor in a chemical factory in Kuwait. On Wednesday afternoon around 1 pm, his two-year-old daughter Apoorva alias Pari was playing with the children at home while mother Khushboo Kushwaha was busy with work.
The kid climbed the stairs while playing and reached the second floor. and fell down the stairs and as it was not having railing in the stairs, she fell on the terrace of the neighbor. The relatives took her to AIIMS in an unconscious condition.
Doctors at AIIMS said that the child must have fallen from a height of about 20 feet. Due to this, there were serious injuries on his head. The real cause of death will be revealed only after the PM report.
