An M Tech girl student allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the Sahakari Parisar at Kalpana Nagar under Piplani police station area on Sunday.
The deceased Snehalata Singh, who was pursuing M Tech from Sri Satya Sai Institute of Science and Technology at Sehore, allegedly committed suicide at around 7am and her body was found near Sahakari Parisar.
A police officer investigating the case said a suicide note was recovered but the reason of her suicide was not mentioned in the suicide note. He added in the suicide note the victim has claimed that no one is responsible for her suicide. Rajendra Singh, the father of the deceased posted as town Inspector in Satna.
The victim, hailed from Satna, used to live with her uncle Rajendra Singh in Jehangirbad but few months ago she moved to Sahakari Parisar. Investigating officer AN Singh said that the victim was found lying near Sakari Parisar and no one was witnessed her jumping off the building.
Police registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and the body was sent for post mortem.
