On the second day of his stay in the Ghoradongari assembly constituency on Monday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while conducting road show in 78 kilometer stretch, covered 13 tribal populated villages and met electorate.
When the overwhelmed villagers finding a popular chief minister among them rain flowers over him Chouhan humbly with folded hands said, “I am the first servant of the people. The 7.5 crore people’s state is my temple and its people are my god. Shivraj Singh Chouhan is mere a priest.”
Chouhan started his campaigning tour and road show from Bhora village and when the peoples flooded his route on the village’s en-route he said that due to the untimely demise of popular legislator Sajjan Singh Uike this by-election has been necessitated. Uike had an ambitious plan for the development of Ghoradongari and it is duty of all of us to fulfill his dreams. The local residents have made Mangal Singh Dhurve the BJP candidate with mutual consent and now it is the responsibility of the electorate to make him victorious to provide momentum to the development of the area, he added.
He said that the BJP government of the state is sensitive towards the aspirations of the forest dwellers. The farming community of the Betul district has suffered the agony of weather and the government stood behind them like rock in their difficult time. Till now compensation amount of Rs 114 crore has been deposited in the accounts of farmers of the district while the amount of insurance would be given separately, he added.
The senior BJP leader said that the light of development reaches in the remote areas through road revolution and the state government is seriously working over it by connecting all villages through roads.
