Principal Secretary Health Praveer Krishna reviewed the disease control situation at a meeting of swine flu control coordination committee here on Wednesday. He urged people that even in the case symptoms of ordinary cold and flu, they should also get examined at the nearest hospital since virus of H1N1 is still active in many States. Medicines have been made available in adequate quantity in all districts. Swine flu control efforts have been made on a war-footing in the State.
Health and Medical Education Departments are making joint efforts to deal with problem and reduce difficulties of people. The coordination committee has advised people to be cautious about contacting disease virus on Holi. People have been urged to keep away from crowded places, use minimum water, play Holi with Gulal and maintain sanitation.
