Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Madhya Pradesh president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan while addressing the Schedule Tribe Cell workers and office bearers of ten districts in Jhabua on Tuesday said, “Workers should start working to demonstrate their abilities to make Nirmala Bhuriya victorious in the Ratlam-Jhabua bypoll and build their image in the party organisation.”
Chouhan further said that it was the Atal Bihari Vajpayee led NDA Government at the Centre that for the first time since independence constituted Tribal Welfare Ministry and Tribal Commission and started working seriously for the welfare of the tribals. The responsibility of Tribal Commission was shouldered with late Dilip Singh Bhuriya who worked hard for the prosperity of tribal families, he added.
He said that it was the then NDA Government that begun the scheme of providing forest land to the tribals on patta. It is the good luck that the maximum 1.75 lakh tribals of Madhya Pradesh have been given the patta of forest land and they are moving ahead on the path of development, he added.
He called on the Schedule Tribe Morcha workers to establish contact with the electorate of Ratlam-Jhabua parliamentary constituency by November 21 and make them aware with the tribal welfare works done in Madhya Pradesh and at the centre by the BJP Governments to garner support for party candidate Nirmala Bhuriya. The BJP has always worked for the welfare of tribal families. During the Congress regime villagers used to celebrate the festival of lights Diwali in darkness, but the BJP Government of the State is providing round the clock electricity to villages and that every village is getting 24 hour electricity, he added.
He committed that in next two years all the settlements of the tribals in the state would be enlighten and they would start getting round the clock electricity.
