Gas Peedit Sanyukt Sangarsh Morcha, Madhya Pradesh has demanded that the more doctors should be appointed in the Bhopal Memorial Hospital so that the gas victims could get proper treatment.
While talking to the media persons here on Wednesday, Morcha’s State President Shamshul Hasan has appealed ‘Bhopal bandh’ on December 3, the 32nd anniversary of the Bhopal gas tragedy in order to tribute the people, who died due to the lethal gas. Morcha’s Convener Azhar Ali Khan has demanded that more doctors should be appointed in the Bhopal memorial hospital so that the gas victims could get proper treatment. Compensation of Rs 5 lakh should be provided to every victim of the gas tragedy. The government should also ensure free and proper treatment to the gas victims.
Ali alleged that the gas victims are being deprived of proper treatment as various departments are closed in the Bhopal memorial hospital. Various gas victims’ organizations and politicians are also fooling people in the name of gas victims. CBI probe should be ordered for these gas organisations.
